Summer has come to an end and school back in full swing. One is ready to crush the challenges facing a 5th grader. The last bell for recess sounds. Young boys race outside to enjoy the sun’s warmth. Name calling and horse-playing around immediately begins as they plan their weekend fun. Challenging each other to execute silly acts or daring one another to flirt with the girls across the playground. One yells out if you don’t jump from the top you are a sissy. Then one hears ask Julie out first. Recess is almost over when another one yells out he won’t…he’s a gay sissy. Silence has now blanketed the playground and one could hear a pin drop. Past and present member’s integrity is also in question. Steadfast and unite together as citizens and boycott the Boy Scouts. Failing to do otherwise shows ones weakness while endorsing the acceptance of gays into the Boy Scouts. By all means, do not be fooled and become the Boy Scout’s next puppet on a string. Citizens must be held accountable as well. Every citizen has a stake in all social groups that receive monetary funds or tax benefits from city, state, or the federal government. Though the Boy Scouts are a private organization and do not receive financial funding. They do receive tax benefits on specific items by not paying sales tax. Also, any organization’s actions requiring state and federal intervention makes citizens involved. State and federal workers are paid by American taxpayers, so one has a responsibility. Are the Boy Scouts truly being responsible? No! They have been part of this country for over 100 years and developed a creed that supports the Declaration of Independence. They represent Americans and the very law written over 200 years ago that continues to make this country awesome. Even more they are empowered to teach values, responsibilities, and instill unmistakable morals into a young boy’s life. The Boy Scouts organization has molded great leaders of this country. Boy Scouts are ambassadors. Allowing gays into their organization proves failure. Furthermore, they are a victim of their own. This gay ban change brings additional shame and scrutiny to the organization. Top Leaders are using this gay ban to dim the spotlight of the Troop Leaders. Moreover, Troop Leaders and the organization need to be responsible and accept blame for their lack of judgment. Without a doubt failing to accept blame will end the existence of this dysfunctional organization

Ever since the fall, mankind has had a voracious desire for power and influence. People witness this desire within the walls of the Capitol Building when the media exposes backroom deals. It also springs up whenever a politician uses a podium to persuade people that he makes the world work. Politicians possibly rely on persuasion because they crave the power. However, persuasion is a manipulative, unBiblical tactic of forcing others to accept a point of view by all means necessary.

Have you ever had a dream where you’re running from person to person begging for help but each either ignores you or pulls away? Have any of you had this happen in real life? I can think of a few minor accounts. Like if my sister uses my memory card and never gives it back, and I need it the next day. If I ask her to help she gives me a look like “you’re the biggest idiot in the world.” I really hate that look. So I start to yell and scream. Which takes a bit before she gets off her butt and helps. I feel that the dumbfounded look and not caring is what Colin Wilson was saying. I’m going to be talking about what I think this quote means. You think its no big deal. You’re out celebrating having a couple of drinks and then just driving home right? Its nothing like that at all. There are many negative effects that can take place when you are out drinking and just having fun with your family or friends. At the moment you don’t think of the WHAT or IF. What can happen if I drive home drunk? What if something happens down the road? Those thoughts don’t come to mind when you’re having fun because why should they? How can a negative thought come to mind when whats in front of you, the feeling you’re having is only positive. I meadow cruickshank think that we have way too much homework because every single teachers gives use a lot of it . And because i think that we need to get more sleep so are brains would be ready for the whole day . And we also don't need that much homework so we can go outside for so time after school and so we can watch movies with our family because the past some kids go at they don't get to watch movies with them and it is sad . Because we need to be with are family and be happy . homework is way to hard for kids .And becasue we need to have family time with our partens and other family members .And so we can hange out with are freinds after school in stead of doing homework i think we should we able to do it . And so we can aslo get are books done and other things like that .
I could play ball with the guys and could even outrun some of them. Give me a challenge and I’d show you I could do it or make you prove that you could do it better then me. I was on every sports team the school would let me on and always did my best. Pain had never bugged me, infact I embraced pain. If I came home sore or with a new cut or bruise to me it meant I had a productive day.

Don’t you ever wish you could have maybe just one more hour of sleep? Students should be able to go to school later, maybe just an hour. Students who are well rested will be able to perform better in class. Also students have extracurricular activities outside of school. Students who have more sleep will be able to perform better at school, but better at extracurricular activities as well.
There's this famous quote that can spark an interest to challenge yourself within you: "If something that you're doing doesn't challenge you, then it doesn't change you." Of course, since everyone of us has rooms for improvement, this can also mean that if you don't change yourself, then you can't also be responsible for changing your situation in life.
