Humans are known for adapting, that is the reason they been able to survive through all the changes earth has faced in the past millennia. But now the human race is on the brink of extinction as the world now is nothing more than a toxic wasteland. Several factors such as pollution, deforestation, ozone depletion, green house effect etc, have piece by piece torn apart mother earth. The atmosphere is ruined, the air fatal to breathe, climate changes have occurred which have changed the fate of mankind, floods have occurred due to melting of polar ice caps, crops have failed and resources have been depleted. The only hope we have now is that we adapt to another planet, MARS. Countries however are of different views and ideals. While some agree that relocating to mars is the best and safest thing for mankind some insist that mankind should live on earth and instead of moving to another planet should make earth a safer planet to live in. The ESA established in France has contributed to several researches surrounding Mars. My countries stand on the topic is that the most easy and fastest option we have in this time of crisis is that we colonize mars. My country would have the following policies about this endeavour, only people who are healthy enough to travel and reside in mars would be given an opportunity to do so, people who can contribute towards making mars a more hospitable planet such as astronauts, scientists, researchers, doctors, engineers, and architects would be given priority as they would be able to help in developing colonies in mars. Those who wish to not join the expedition or those who are left behind due to their health would be given enough resources to sustain themselves for a period of a few years.
