In an accounting large quantity of numbers in systematically arrangement makes possible for businesses to provide a view of its day to day activity, growth, and its financial standing. I created interest in learning accounting from my home, and make it my career, as well as to progress my career goal to become auditor and open up my own accounting business; I need to make my knowledge of accounting wider and stronger. Applying for Master Science in Accounting is a very important step toward achieving my career goal.

Case studies during ethical class made me see how people misuse their knowledge of accounting to do fraud, along with this they creates a false image of their business in public eyes. I want to learn forensic accounting, and would like to work for the auditing department, further more I also want to open my own accounting business in the future. To keep myself updated with current accounting regulation and laws, I am regularly reviewing GAAP, FASB, and AICPA journals and articles. It is also important to enhance my knowledge of accounting; learn new skills like marketing, managing new client; and how to handle business to become successful. In order to achieve my goals, I would like to apply for Masters Degree to build strong foundation of accounting and management. Pursuing Master’s degree in Accounting will be a good decision to strength my skills and knowledge of practical use of accounting. The Prairie View A&M University is the best choice for pursuing a degree of Masters in Accounting, because of my full time job I need a flexible schedule, and PVAMU provides weekend and evening class. Also PVAMU offers AACSB accredited program in accounting, along with it has experienced teachers and recognized study program with higher ethical standard for graduate
