Their playing together were nicely insync with each other. It wasn’t badly off key or anything you might call music that isn’t insync. I specifically liked katie’s singining better than Jim’s. Larry’s ws alright. He sang one song a little better than alright at one point. But she sound like she had a perfect country music voice. I just thought of country music when I heard her. Her guiltar playing fit well with that thought too. Both of them played some of country music song. The last performances were Oren, Gabriel & Avery, a trio of people which consists of two men playing guiltars and a woman who sang. One was a steel guitar. One of the men sang as well. ...te Choir did a very poor job with emotional projection (tone); they never smiled or even suggested a hint of feeling in their voices. I found that this made their performance somewhat uninteresting because it wasn’t relatable or something that made me curious. It think that the conductor did a good job making sure that the choir watched her and she guided them through the songs, but I thought it was a bad idea she joined them in the mambo during “One Goal”. The choir did a good job holding up their harmonies and staying in tune. I think that if this choir had a better knowledge and understanding of dynamics it would have made their performance a lot better, especially if they had taken chances. I wish that this choir would have annunciated more so that we could hear the message that they were trying to convey. Still, I think that the choir did respectably overall.
They performed two songs during a much appreciated encore, the title track to their new album, “Ohio,” and a freestyle guitar solo. Even though all their songs are pretty much slow and sad, I left the concert feeling as if I had just experience every emotion or feeling there was. There style is so soft and bare. They lay it all on the table, take it or leave it. Not interested in mainstream, happy with their underground following, and plus one more fan after the show in Indianapolis.

...ng a little more boring but I was gladly shocked that it was actually not boring. When the performers were asked question about what type of music they like. Brendan said that he like Faure & Schumann. Daniel said he prefers chain music, and Mozart was difficult for him. Lisa said that she like romantic music and dark music also. Lastly Yannick could not give a definite answer he said that he likes all music. That also talk about how it is working without a conductor, they said that there has to be sacrifices made and that they had to make it work. They also said that even if they didn’t like a piece they would work at it until they like it and go to know it better. The advice I would give someone going to watch this concert would be to make sure that you are paying attention and not sleeping of sitting on your phone because you will miss things that are important.
The band played together in such harmony and joy, and they exchanged looks as if they're talking to each other and understood by looks. As it turns out the guest go the nigh George Gazone was the professor who taught the band members music. Garzone Played the Saxophone like no other, he’s solos were magical it was fascinating watching him and the admiration his student have for him. The music sounded beautiful, yet seems the band are not well prepared for the evening. There was a lot of improvisation and as if every band member wanted to show off his skills which was really good. Improvisation is an element of jazz I was looking for, also, there were a lot of call and response between the band members different ones at each piece they played.
The first band performance of the night was jazz band. The first song was “Alright, Okay, You Win” and I think it sounded great. I feel like I could’ve played out just a little more in the beginning because you can hear my notes but not too well. Jeremy’s solo sounded good and I think that my solo sounded good too. The next song was “Fly Me to the Moon.” I
This piece was filled with improvisation and you could feel the creativity following from the musicians. The combo didn’t have a conductor like the big band and was significantly smaller. Although, the combo was smaller and less formal it wasn’t any less of a performance. The piece started out with a phenomenal alto sax solo by Kevin Clements of Lamar, Missouri. Kevin is a talented musician, with his dark, rich sounding solo, he hit it out of the park. Ivan Vazquez of Garden City, Kansas performed another great solo on the trombone. Maddy Beasley, Kearney, Missouri followed Ivan with a tenor saxophone
... the public chose them to sing “That’s My Kinda Night” by Luke Bryan. The also sang “Wanted” by Hunter Hayes. They received good comments from the judges, but Demi Lovato said some untrue things about their performance and the voters listened to much to her and the band was sent home and was fourth place in the competition.
The chorus may have been a bit weak vocally, but they made up for it with their energy. The kids of the “Corny Collins’ Show” were perfectly cast with their huge ironic grins, and the record shop ensemble was energetic and played well off of Motormouth. Contrastingly, the “Dynamites” were very strong musically, though their dancing could have been more animated.
Their acting chops were very impressive whether it was comedic, emotional, or just stunning overall. Yet, on the other hand, some minor characters weren’t as well heard as others. I feel as the play could be better if some of the minor characters had projected their voice more, allowing their character to be known. However, although some voices were much stronger than others, all actors were full of talent, capable of dealing with script’s requirements, and did a good job
The rest of the trumpet section was also very lively; I felt they carried the main theme in almost every song which certainly kept me interested in the performance. The conductor kept the band on time, and to me they never missed a beat. One could tell they were certainly well rehearsed and truly knew how to use their instruments. A lot of music these days has become focused on generating the catchiest lyrics or chorus, so seeing this jazz ensemble was very refreshing. I was delightfully surprised to see such remarkable music talent at a performance of that size and caliper.
Celine, her band, and her backup dancers, impeccably executed each song. There was a huge Las Vegas influence in her show. It was obvious that they had spent years there perfecting their performance. Her concert was everything you would expect to see at a Las Vegas show but it was being performed in Birmingham, Alabama. It was incredible. Lynyrd Skynyrd could not have been more different. Nothing about their act seemed to have been rehearsed, much less choreographed. There were two female singers on the right side of the stage that I did not even notice were there for much of the concert. The only real impressive acts were their guitar solos. The guitarists were extremely talented and eager to show off their skills. One by one, they would step to the front of the stage exhibit their talent. It was amazing to see them perform. Especially, Gary Rossington, as he is the only original band member still playing in Lynyrd

This concert was very nice and enjoyable. The performance overall was very good and easy to listen to. All the pieces they played except for the second one I really did like. I had never been to a chamber music concert before this one, but I really enjoyed the setting and how close you could be to the musicians. The concert overall was very good and I would go back to another one like it
Though, I knew it wouldn’t be the same as a concert, I still intended it to be similar. To my surprise, it was a completely different atmosphere. Overall, I did enjoy it, but there were a few things I disliked. I wasn’t a fan that the majority of the songs performed by Anthony Lovano’s band had no words. I didn’t like this, because that is my favorite part about the concert; getting to sing along with the band. When only two songs had words, I was confused how the band could ever interact with the audience to build their reputation. This being said, that is the second part I disliked; lack of participation with the audience. A member of the band would announce the song being played, with few explaining the meaning behind it and then they’d perform. I disliked this because I always find it more entertaining to interact with the performers. I think it’s exciting when they let you sing part of the song, while they play the music or when they just talk to you about their day in between songs. Again, I have only ever gone to a concert before, so this is all I was able to base it off
