Peer Review is scientists who get there worked checked and evaluated by other scientists or experts where they check whether there results are reliable and valid by repeating it and by obtaining similar results which will provide more evidence that the scientific journal is accurate and reliable to publish worldwide. The processes involved are you have to comment on the validity of the science, also you will have to indentify the scientific errors that they could have made. Another thing that you will have to do is look which methodology they used and evaluate the importance of the findings that they have made. Firstly the advantages are it allows the reviewer who is reviewing you scientific journal to know the quality of research you put in and whether there is any bias research. Also the reviews are experts so they know what’s good and bad so they will correct the mistakes and tell you what needs improvement. Another advantage is the reviewer can find out whether the scientific journal or report has been plagiarized and remove which will save money and time instead of publishing it. Also peer review allows the reviewer/ reader to repeat the exact experiments and used the exact same results that they obtained and compare to what they got to see how similar and accurate the result which makes it more reliable to use. Lastly they can validate that the experiments were done correctly and carried out properly. The disadvantages are that a new scientist could have done an excellent scientific journal but it can be rejected by the review where as an known scientist or established scientist could have had a poorer written scientific journal and let that go instead. Also it can be judged on the reputation of the author instead of the quality of the report/journal. Another is it is very time consuming and expensive as well and it could take up to months to get approved and someone could have thought someone else’s work and take the credit for it where someone spent time and dedication to make it good. Finally another disadvantage is that the reviewer might criticize it and call it bias because there have different opinions or thoughts to you so there are different reasons why peer review is good or
