Paul Bettany Panel While attending Chicago Wizard World I got the chance to see the one and only Paul Bettany! Bettany has had a huge role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and so far has been in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Captain America: Civil War. Coming up he will soon be in both the upcoming Avengers films! He started off by playing J.A.R.V.I.S. (Just a Rather Very Intelligent System). J.A.R.V.I.S. was a computer system designed by Tony Stark that later came to life as Vision. Vision was played by Bettany, which further expanded his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Acknowledging that Bettany has played two very different roles in the MCU, a fan asked which one was his favorite. Bettany responds with, “I’m loving playing Vision. It was fun being Jarvis, but it’s really nice not being anybody’s servant anymore”. A different fan tells Bettany that he thinks one of the coolest parts of the MCU was when the Vision lifted Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir. The fan then said he was upset that Vision didn’t get to keep the hammer so he offered Bettany a custom made Mjölnir with the Avengers vision logo on the hammer. …show more content…
who was J.A.R.V.I.S.’s replacement. Bettany says, “It was Kevin Feige’s idea. He rung me up and was like, “don’t you think it would be like the most meta thing in the world?” and I was like, “Yeah I do”. Then I looked up what meta means. I googled meta and was like yeah, I guess he’s right!”. Afterwards, Bettany revealed that if he could play a Marvel super villain he would play Thanos. Bettany explains, “My mate is having a ball playing Thanos right now, how awesome is that? Thanos is awesome. I would choose Thanos”. He then says that his favorite DC hero is Batman and his favorite DC villain is the Joker. Bettany says, “Heath’s portray of the Joker was magnificent. He caught this sort of punk chaos of it all
He is also a trustee/board member of the American Theater Wing; a non-profit that co-produces the Tony Awards and supports and promotes American theater through grant distribution and educational programing and a former board member of Publicolor, Bideawee and GMHC.
In the movie Iron Man, dialogue is often used and for the most part very distinctive. Tony Stark often partakes in dialogue with Yinsen, his fellow prison mate when he was taken hostage at the beginning of the film. Also, Stark is often in dialogue with Pepper, his assistant and love interest, his friend Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes, and his business partner and later arch foe, Obadiah Stane.
The biggest surprise for me was seeing Kay E. Kuter in Zombie High. After doing some research on the actor, I realize he was in quite a few genre films over the span of his career like Star Trek, Warlock, Charmed, and more. However, I’ll always remember him as the alien leader Enduran in one of my favorite sci-fi films of the 1980s, The Last Starfighter.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (CA:TWS) was the long awaited sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger (CA:TFA), which was released in 2011. It features Chris Evans as Steven Grant Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, Scarlet Johansson as Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. The Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, a.k.a. The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier. The movie takes place two years after the events of The Avengers (2012). Steve is still struggling to adjust to modern times, after being asleep for 70 years. He works in Washington D.C. for the espionage agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division). Joining forces with the Black Widow and the Falcon, Steve struggles to expose a conspiracy within S.H.I.E.L.D, but he and his team soon come up against an unexpected enemy. Captain America: The Winter Soldier can be rhetorically analyzed in perspective of message, purpose, and audience.
Peter Quill, Thor Odinson, and Steve Rogers, what do all these men have in common? Well besides the fact that they are all ruggedly handsome with lean, and defined bodies, soulful eyes and golden (ish) hair……. they are all portrayed by a Chris. The three marvel Chrises has sparked a controversy between the general public in deciding one very important decision, which Marvel Chris is the best? With the question of Evans, Hemsworth, or Pratt up in the air, everyone hands down chooses Pratt! Chris Pratt causes this reaction with his fans because of many reasons including his humor, generosity, and his determination.
The next most popular movie he played in was “The Sum of All Fears.” This movie was created in 2002. It is a thriller and drama. The movie is based on Tom Clancy’s book. Also, this movie got a 6.4/10 from IMDb (The Sum of All Fears, IMDb).
Nearly all heroes are faced with a variety of inconceivable tasks which in turn help to overcome obstacles that the character may face. In Spider-Man, Peter Parker is forced to overcome these impediments so that he can help protect the people in his city. The task that first illustrates this quest is Spider-Man’s revenge on the man who killed his uncle and committed robbery. To catch this criminal, though, Spider-Man has to learn how to use his mind: thinking quickly and on-the-spot. Not only does it take courage for Spider-Man to defeat this criminal, it takes quick reflexes that only his “spidey senses” can offer him. In the end, Spider-Man tricks the man and is successful in turning him into the police. Another example of a difficult task that Spider-Man is faced with is a battle with his newfound enemy, the Green Goblin. Created from a science experiment gone wrong, this evil creation tries to ruin celebrations on World Unity Day by exploding buildings and killing people. This event truly shows that Spider-Man now has an enemy that he can face, and he now knows how large the obstacles that are placed in front of him are. This event is significant because Spider-Man now knows who his true enemy is, and foreshadows confrontations yet to come. As the Goblin says in this scene, “We’ll meet again, Spider-Man!” Though no large defeat occurs in this instance, it displays the new conflict that will occur between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin. Finally, an near-impossible task that Spider-Man is faced with is a fierce battle with the Green Goblin in which he is forced to choose between saving a trolley full of children, and saving his true love, Mary Jane. The Green Goblin says:
In 1987, he got the chance to play the lead role as Caleb Colton in the vampire movie Near Dark. He got his biggest break in the industry with a role in the British movie Just Like a Woman in 1992. He played the role of Gerald Tilson in that movie. After that, he took a break from acting and returned back to New York.
Jittlov has made the most of these appearances, dressed in his green wizard cloak-jacket and green shoes that he'd worn in the film. Jittlov later worked as a special effects technician on the film Ghost, and he has also appeared in fan films, including Darth Vader's Psychic
As the interview goes on, Michael Shannon seems to be fed up with the PR team of the studio, as they want to make it certain that Michael Shannon will not throw any leak about the film. But seems the actor got slip ups, as he first said that he got no part in the film, but he stated that he went over and "did some voice-over stuff." Michael Shannon said, "The thing about the whole Krypton universe, apparently, is that even when you destroy them, there are ghosts." "The first [film], Jor-El (Russell Crowe) is there even though he's been dead for lord knows how long. I went over and did some voice-over stuff because it's like that ghost thing.

With his one of a kind armor suits, quirky characteristics and beyond extreme superpowers, Iron Man is by far one of the supreme Marvel superheroes. While most superheroes are commonly known for simply ‘saving the day’, Iron Man goes above and beyond. His sarcastic attitude and witty comments are hilarious and bring a sense of humor to viewers and fans, showcasing that he is so much more than your typical superhero. Iron Man is simply incomparable and his superiority and even more intelligent mind are just additional examples for his greatness. He is looked upon as a leader to others and has saved the planet more than enough times as proof of his hard work. Even without the suit, Tony proves to be a superhero with his worthy and kind intentions. Long live the legacy of an incredible man, and superhero!
