Christian counseling can be defined in many ways in society. I defined Christian counseling to be a helpful tool for many people that are having problems and issues in their life. Christian counseling is consider as the pastoral counseling that enables psychology and Christian. I agree that Christian counseling is the motivations and goals of counseling. Because without a relationship with God things will not go the way that we want them to go. If we have a relationship with God we can achieve the goals that we are reaching for . Our mind and soul will no longer be a disaster. Counselors do suppose to talk to their clients about their problems and how they can overcome their problems. I feel when a counselor is helping a client that they should be one on one with that particular client that they are working with. Because many clients will feel insecure or uncomfortable with more people are around. Pastors does provide spiritual counseling. And many clients needs to listen and obtained the information that a pastor is speaking about. Pastoral counseling gives information on how God wants us to live and treat others. Helping others out when we are able to. I disagree with Adam because that counseling should be done from a Christian worldview. And the reason why I disagree is because many people worship different religious. I am a Christian and believe in God. But we have others that do not believe in God. I feel as the ones that do not believe in God should have a particular counselor that believe in what they believe in and worship. …show more content…

A counselor shouldn’t make them about it or listen to them. Because a counselor is there to help them not to destroy them and cause more problems in their life. In the article Consecrated Counseling it stated that the elements of it. It mentioned personal faith of the counselor that counselor should have a personal faith as a Christian. I agree with that because as as Christian you must be connected with God. As a Christian many people and myself was raised up in attending church every Sunday, Bible Study, and programs that was involved within the church. Christian people do Christian things according to God. Not only was being a part of church, but learning and reading the bible was an exceptional as a Christian. Especially when I was growing up as a child. Counseling is a person life and work of the counselor. The information obtained from the article Counseling it’s very important to take on ownership of being a faithful counselor. It’s determine the honest and loyal that you have for yourself and for the clients. Knowing how to work with different ages included males and females.
