Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person has to make in their life, as that is what they will have to do to support themselves throughout their lifetime. Although there are millions of different job opportunities throughout the world,when choosing a career choice, I knew it had to be something I had a passion for, something I would really enjoy and wouldn't mind doing for the rest of my life. I knew it had to be a job that there would be no end to and that the world will always have employment for." Passion is the difference between having a job or having a career," they say, and that is quite true. Choosing a job as a nurse, I know I will never have to work a day in my life, as it would only be another hobby added on to my list. Ever since I was a little girl, I remember going to my mother’s job with her and recall seeing her in her forest green scrub every morning sharply at 6:00 a.m.; she is a nurse at a nursing home. That is where my passion for nursing began. Seeing her walk into Pruitt Healthcare at Lilburn and everyone greeting her with that immense contentment, and her greeting them back as well with such joy was very heartwarming and made me think to myself "I want to be just like my momma when I grow up!" After graduation, I will go straight into college without taking any breaks in between. Education is extremely significant to me, and therefore, it is my first priority. I must perceive a high education in order be able to work in a tremendous, known hospital, such as Grady Hospital , which is one of my ultimate goals.
