Party Scene Rewrite Chaz’s parties are usually pretty enjoyable, but this one is a disappointment. I mean, Chaz can make anything cool, even chess and accordion music, but I’m not really digging it. I thought I could impress a girl named Brianna at this party, but it’s hard to make an all black outfit look stylish. I’ve had a crush on her for years and thought that since she is single now, I could try and make a move. Let’s just say it’s not going well. To make things even better, I noticed a guy that’s been eyeing her for the past hour. I’ve never seen this kid in my life, but I already hate him. I have to find out who he is. “Hey, Chaz, who’s the kid in the Bulls shirt and khakis?” “That, my friend, is Brent. He’s the new kid,” Chaz replied.
Far back, in the midst of a time when the world was very young, there lived a princess named Lucille and a bunny named Fluffy. Lucille was a beautiful girl with chocolate brown hair, and eyes as blue as the sweet summer sky. Fluffy was as white as snowflakes and as soft as clouds. He offered plenty of razzmatazz but little manners. They lived together in a tall castle, covered in green vines and grey cobblestone, hidden in the dense forest filled with animals and nature.
Premise: Nothing special about Sterling Wayfairer. Nothing special at all. He is not an exceptional student and even worse athlete. But he's friends with the cool kids and gets to have some fun when his parents aren't nagging him to death. And all Sterling really wants is to ask Waverly out. But who doesn't? Waverly is the ‘it’ girl at school. Beautiful, athletic, smart, popular, and did I mention she was beautiful? Yep the world would stop on its axis if Waverly would just notice him. Then Tetra shows up(and I'm calling her Tetra because her real name broke my spell check.
I also don't own the idea, it was requested to me by the wonderful Amanda. Thank you so much! I hope I did this idea justice.
This girl was everything I wanted, she loved nature, she was open minded, creative and smart. Christina was just like Mary. After the first year of University was done there was a huge student party on the residence. Me and Christina went off to the party together, we both met so many new people. But the one thing I haven't had in months was Silent Sam, and he was there. Through out the midd...
Did I just do that? Did I just stop juror three? I can’t believe it; how did I have the nerve to do that? oh no he is going to hit me I’m sure of it. However I really liked it when I stopped him and taking charge, like I didn't know what i was doing. I rose up to the occasion and and just did it. So this is what bravery feels like I kind of liked it but I don’t think I will experiencing that feeling again any time soon. But sweet mother of jesus!! Look at his face juror three is so pissed like his face is as red as a tomato I hope he will calm down or something might happen like; I actually thought he was about to attack juror eight he was shouting and yelling at him. Good thing I wasn’t the one that started the fight with him or I would have been knocked out faster than anything.
There once was a water droplet named Raine, she was thousands of years old. Her routine consisted of going through the water cycle, she got to see new things each day and explore. Sometimes she ended up in the same place, but most of the time she got to see new things. In this story you are going to hear about one day when Raine went to Fruitvale.
The act takes place in the dining room in a new Birling’s’ house in Sheiffied, in the North Midlands. It is an evening in spring, 1922. The baronial, high-rise house, built by the Scottish workers in the 1560s, that was bought and furnished by Mrs Birling, after her husband’s death, has an enormous amount of rooms and a spacious dining room with a large, wooden table. At the rise of the curtain, all the characters are seated at the table, as the tea has just started and everyone is talking.
In the poem “The Double Play”, the author uses metaphors, words, and phrases to suggest turning a double play in baseball is like a dance. Some words throughout the poem could be used to connect the idea of a double play being like dancing. One word that could suggest this is, the word used “poised”, “Its flight to the running poised second baseman” (12). Poised in this sense could mean that the player knows what he is doing and has mastered the double play, while a dancer can be poised meaning light and graceful. Another word in this poem that relate to a double play and dancing is the term “pirouettes”, “Pirouettes / leaping, above the slide, to throw” (13-14). The player is described to be doing a pirouette in the double play while in the
It was brought to my attention last night by someone, who shall remain nameless (JAYNIE TILLERY, our resident staff professional "proofer" ) that the two iPray emails sent yesterday afternoon contains multi errors.
I’m Freda Josephine Baker born to Carrie McDonald and Eddie Carson on June 3rd, 1906, in St. Louis, Missouri, but most of you may know me as Josephine Baker. At the age of 12 I dropped out of school to become an entertainer, yes yes, I remember it like it was yesterday, I was young and ready to become a star. I grew up cleaning houses and babysitting for white families, and they always reminded me “be sure not to kiss the baby”. When I was 13, I got a waitressing job at the Chauffeur’s Club, which was where I met my first husband, our marriage was very brief; I had never hesitated to leave anyone, never depended on any man for anything, that’s for sure.
The music was blaring exceptionally loud tonight, Patricia thought to herself. I can’t even hear myself think—let alone some drunk asking me for a lap dance. It was a classic rock night with AC/DC and Metallica playing loudly. If a customer paid the DJ enough cash, he’d trash what the girls wanted to dance to and play what the customer wanted. Fuck it! He got paid more from their tips than from our nightly payout.
It has been a few weeks on the island. I choose to be Ralph’s side, because he was the only one to personally speak to me. An everyday image for us group of boys is Jack and his hunters hunt while Ralph, Simon, and I build shelters and Piggy and the littluns build a rescue fire. Jack harassing Piggy and then going to bed musing about being rescued. Today was different though. Today we are going to find out if the beast is real. We have been walking through the jungle all day listening to Jack and Ralph argues about being chief, which, is getting on my last nerve. As the sky changed into a dark shade, Simon volunteered to go back and help Piggy with the littluns. I don’t know why he wanted to go back alone but if anyone would sacrifice, it would be him. We reached the mountain! Jack went climbing up on his own while Ralph, and I waited for him. Eventually we decided to go up. “There was a slithering noise high above them, the sounds of someone taking a giant and dangerous strides on a rock or ash” (Golding 121). As jack came down, he had a croaking feel to him. He said he saw something bulge. Ralph and I decided to go take a peak. When we got to the top, we saw a creature.
Unfamiliar music is blaring out of the speakers as Meg and I abandon the dance floor for another round of drinks. This will be the first drink we pay for ourselves all night; earlier this evening we used a ticket for free drinks at the pub across from our hostel. Walking down the sunny streets of Byron Bay, it’s nearly impossible not to be given tickets for night life activities, therefore it is no surprise when we run into two of our hostel roommates at the pub. Two pretty blonde Swedish girls who have mostly kept to themselves during their stay. We have made friends with most of the roommates that have come through our hostel, however these Swedish girls haven’t come across all too friendly. Honestly, I find them rather standoffish and rude.
What message do you believe “The Dinner Party” expresses? Well, the main message that I believe this story shows is equality. You, my friends, and my teacher may all have a different thought on this story but equality was my final opinion. This was expressed by the colonel and Mrs. Wynes mainly. There are a couple of different reasons I had actually come up with this thought which will be explained. This brings me to my first paragraph.
In the movie The Breakfast Club, five seemingly different adolescents are assigned Saturday detention where they learn that although they each fit a particular stereotype, they all have the same characteristics, but they are expressed differently because they have different experiences, strengths and weaknesses that makes them who they are. In the movie, Bender is the “criminal”, Brian is the “brain” and Allison is the “psychopath.” Each of their situations, strengths and weakness are similar to students that are in our classrooms currently or we may have in our classrooms in the future. For each student it is important to understand their learning differences and as a teacher, how I can use their strengths to help them become successful students.
