Oil Glass Bottle
The oil glass bottle is made up of three trapezium prisms and a half sphere. So to find the volume of the oil glass bottle you would need to find the volume of all three truncated cones and the volume of the half sphere and plus them all together. To find the volume of the truncated cones, you need to use the formula V = π [s (R + r) + R2 + r2], this will give you the volume for all the truncated cones. Also to find the volume of the half sphere is two-thirds times pi times radius3 (2/3 x π x r3). Once these volumes have been found and plus together, you would receive the volume of the oil glass bottle.

Toothpaste Tube
The toothpaste tube is made up of four cylinders. So to find the volume of the toothpaste tube you would need to find the volume of each cylinder and plus them together. To find the volume of the cylinders you need to times pi by the radius2 by the height or the length (π x r2 x h or l). Then once these four volumes had been found and plus together, you would find the volume of the toothpaste tube.

So to find the volume of the hour glass, you need to find the volume of both cylinders, both trapezium prisms and a rectangular prism and plus them together. To find the volume of the two cylinders you need to time s pie by radius2 by the height or the length. To find the volume of the trapezium prisms you need to do ((a+b ÷ two) x height) x length. Also to find the volume of the rectangular prism, you times length by width by height. After finding all the volumes of all the shapes, you need to plus together all the volumes found to find the volume of the hour
