In times like today, living the same day-to-day job with no excitement brings a want for adventure. A weekend camping trip is something to get you out in some nice fresh air and to see nature. Today, I will be introducing two products that will make you want to get outside, found through Kickstarter. . A wise man once said “I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put together” (Burroughs). Both of these products are very useful in the outdoors. The first is known as the Nube Stratos, a clever concept with a mix of a canopy as well as a tent all in one. The second product, is not a shelter but a grill, which also is a very useful tool in the outdoors. This grill is called The
Velocity Grill, which is wood fired that can

After seeing the price and the set up, it would be much easier and cheaper to get a simple tent to bring and still get the full experience and
Ashmore 4 fun in the outdoors. Also, a lot of people do not go alone to go camping, it is usually a group or with family and this one person canopy would not take that into consideration.
The Nube Stratos is a very unique and cool concept but overall would be great for just a one person trip. After seeing those cons, I would definitely have to go with the Velocity
Grill or the Ultimate Wood Fired Grill. This grill brings a lot more to the table, even though it would be a difficult grill to hike with, it can still be useful in many more different environments; such as football games, park, backyard cookouts and camping etc. All together the Velocity Grill would be a very useful product in many different occasions. It has many amazing components that make it awesome and even more attractive to a consumer looking for a portable and reliable grill. With that being said I would invest my five hundred dollars into the Velocity Grill being that it has a lot
Cooking was done on a campfire. They would use a flint and steel to light the fire. Wood, cow dung, willow, and sagebrush were some of the fuels they used to fuel the fire.
There is this feeling we all experience when we step away from the chaos of rushing cars, infrastructure, and artificial lights, and we step into nature. Some describe it as bliss, comfort, excitement, pleasure or just pure happiness. This is the answer to the question Paul Bloom asks “Why should we care about nature?” in his article “Natural Happiness.” Paul goes through this process in which he uncovers the fact that “real natural habitats provide significant sources of pleasure for modern humans”, regardless of our need for food, clean water, and air. There are 3 main arguments that Paul makes in this article that I find particularly interesting, they include: “Our hunger for the natural is everywhere. In many regards our species has already kissed nature goodbye, and we are better off for it. There is a considerable mismatch between

The Two Methods of Camping and Which Is Better There are two ways that families or individuals camp. One way is permanent camping, and the other is transient camping. Permanent camping is exactly as it sounds. A camper is placed on a purchased or borrowed lot at a campground and is left there year-round. Transient camping is when one takes a camper with them to a campground and then takes the camper back home after he or she is done. Not all campgrounds have the option of going permanent; in fact most campgrounds only allow transient camping. There are advantages and disadvantages to both, but which is the best? Well, that's just a matter of opinion. Transient Camping Let's start with transient camping. Transient camping is extremely common
You can’t eat tabletop burners, but they come in handy when you have to choose between paying your gas bill or your electric bill. Always pay the electric bill. The gas bill can be put on the back burner, I mean it’s safe there the gas is shut off.
Being in the wild is a great experience, it opens doors and bridges inside one’s mind. It allows people to be inspired, to find hope. It gives people a sense of direction and helps people conquer challenges that they never thought they would achieve. The example left behind by a young man named Christopher McCandless in Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer demonstrates how living on the road and surviving off the land can prove to be a pilgrimage and help enlighten others to go out in search of their own philosophical ideals. Whether it is being away from home and travel all across America, not settling down in one place, but staying long enough in one place and have an affect on someone else, or being with your family hiking up a mountain and be able to look at the scenery that nature brought forth.
The camp offers, what they call, “Interest groups”, which allows campers to pick activities they want to try out for a week. The second week I was there, I signed up

Although you don’t have to pay for flights, a hotel room, or a tour guide, camping can get surprisingly expensive, especially if you’re determined to use the supposedly innovative technology that certain brands in the camping industry have been churning out over the past couple of years. The truth is, most of the latest camping technology is totally useless. The only thing you need for a successful camping trip is somewhere warm to sleep and it doesn’t even have to be a tent.

Leisure time, each person thinks of something different when they hear this. While reading an essay by Gregory A. Miller about "The Many Benefits of Hiking” I got to thinking what my favorite features and benefits of hiking are. My favorite thing to do in my leisure time is hiking because it calms my mind, it 's great for the body, and I enjoy doing all I can for our earth along the way.
