In particular, Trois-Rivieres’s climate is continental, but it is humid due to its close proximity to a river. (See appendix). The summers are warm with temperatures that rise to 25°C. Autumn tends to be quite cool, but it is not uncommon to have days that are unreasonably hot or cold. Winter can be short and frigid ranging from -7.3°C to -17.6°C. The precipitation annually is quite low, but in May to October, it is quite heavy (See appendix A).
