Hospitals are depressing. No one ever wants a reason to visit or stay in a hospital. They are scary. Hospitals are a place where life and death teeter totter back and forth. Patients either live or die. It is constantly on their minds. Imagine if one day every week we filled these hospitals with joy. Paint and Paws will bring joy to both the patients and families stuck in the hospital. Our mission is to aid in their healing process through the use of art therapy and puppy therapy. Hospitals are great functioning institutes in every aspect other than, they are depressing. Depression leads to hospitals being less successful at healing the patients. We will set up in a central location of the hospital and invite patients to come. We will start small with different variations of art projects ranging from painting, poetry, singing, acting, gardening, and pottery. Every week will be different. We will have a comment box to take the ideas of the patients every week and we will find ways to integrate their ideas into the program. We also understand that not every patient will be able to leave their rooms to come to our events. Our therapy dogs will visit the patients that cannot come to our
