I feel that I could be a good candidate to receive this scholarship because of the commitment I have to be successful. My plans for the future are to become a Radiologist and possibly be a small farmer on the side. I strive to be the best I can not only academically, but also in my extra curricular activities. Receiving a higher education has been a lifelong goal for me. All my life I wanted a job saving animals, as I got older I knew being a veterinarian is my all-time life objective. Although, I am currently a veterinary technician I need to achieve a higher educational background to completely reach my goal in life. Receiving my first collegiate scholarship was a very important point in my life. This is a wonderful experience that I would like to thank you for personally. I concluded my second year with all A’s and a cumulative 3.87 GPA. This summer I worked on a research project within the communication college at Ohio State, and in the fall I will begin my third year of college as a strategic communication major. I also hold multiple part time jobs, one of which being an audio visual technician in the Ohio Union.
