Leadership Philosophy
Soldiers are instructed by the SGL’s to provide a brief comprehension about the leadership philosophy in the United States Army. The Instructor’s intent is to understand the Soldier and acclimate him or her to be a better leader to guide his or her peers and subordinates to success. What do I believe about people, myself, leadership, and what are my goals (our goals) for the organization?
The Army must develop a leader to comfortably make decisions under unstable and dangerous situations. The Army as a whole is teams of teams, starting from the lowest team which the buddy team---two military members who look after each other in a variety of positions and environments. As we all know it is proven that team’s actions are better than individual actions when members work together. The Army depends on effective team work to perform tasks and achieve objectives, and accomplish missions.
There are two categories of team work; there is ineffective team work and effective team work. As we all know from the title itself you can touch basis on some of the differences between the two categories. Failing to listen to relevant input of a team member will affect the team, if you speak despairingly about other members also will affect the team. The list is long and my input in this matter will be simple. Live by the Army values and the warrior Ethos. Always have the Creed of the Non Commissioned Officer as your guidance to
