Haugland, a white male, 5'11", 180 lbs, blue eyes, short dirty blonde hair, wearing a blue Under Armor sweatshirt and blue jeans The following occurred in the City of Auburn, King County, WA; On November 19, 2017, at approximately 1713 hours, Irwin Haugland reported that his son Dale A. Haugland ran away from home. Irwin reported that Dale has a history of mental illness and threatened to kill himself today. I spoke with Irwin. Irwin told today Dale became upset with his parents because they took away his cell phone. Irwin took away Dale's phone because Dale was using Snapchat to show pictures of him …show more content…

This afternoon Dale said he wanted to kill himself by running out into traffic. Dale then ran out of this house. Irwin said Dale had his phone but his phone does not allow service. The only way Dale can use his phone is if he has Internet access. Dale's older biological sister has mental health issues and is currently in a mental health facility in Utah. Irwin is concerned because he knows Dale has mental health issues and Irwin is afraid Dale will harm himself. Dale is approximately 5'11", 180 lbs, blue eyes, short dirty blond hair, last seen wearing a blue Under Armor sweatshirt and blue jeans. Dale is athletic and plays football and wrestles. Irwin provided photographs of Dale which I included in the case jacket. Additionally, I sent an e-mail out to the Department to keep a look out of Dale. At 1757 hours Irwin contacted me and told me Dale may be at his friend's Tyson's house located at 12619 SE 299TH PL. Ofc. Foster and I went to the residence and contacted Tyson. I told Tyson Dale is not in trouble and I need to talk with him. Tyson told me Dale is at the residence at the same time I saw Dale exit out the garage door and take off
