Ashley Davis is a 14 year-old, brown-skinned, African-American, masculine presenting female. Ashley’s mother reports that patient is defiant, especially toward her and other authority figures. Mother reports that Ashley’s behavior disrupts the family, her ability to achieve in school and has landed her in legal trouble. Mother reports that the Ashley began to exhibit sexually promiscuous behavior starting as early as 9 years old. Her reason for referral and placement on the unit was due to Ashley’s mother, finding her and her twin brother naked together in a sexualized position, all while trying to record this interaction. When the mother questioned both Ashley and her brother, it seemed as though the Ashley was the aggressor.

A native Patersonian, Pamela Holloway is the daughter of Willie Sue and the late Garfield Dance. She is the eldest sibling of brothers Gerald and Gavin. Roxie Riggs is a Caucasian female some sixty-five years of age who came in today with narcotic addiction for evaluation for medical treatment for this problem. The patient is presently receiving treatment with buprenorphine; however, her practitioner moved away. Ms. Riggs was placed on methadone in 2001 (age 51), and was taken off it in 2005 (age 55). She has never been treated with naltrexone. Ms. Riggs first started taking buprenorphine on January 1, 1994, and is presently using the drug.

The scenario this paper will discuss pertains to an elderly woman, named Alicia Foote, and her legal right to create and exercise a living will. Ms. Foote currently has dementia, and is experiencing a diminished quality of life due to her hypertensive vascular disease, dementia, and semi-comatose state. Ms. Foote, hereinafter “the patient”, while still competent, executed a living will, which conveys her medical wishes to her future physician(s). To begin this study we must first begin with defining what a master athlete is and what you have to do to be considered one. A master athlete is defined as a person that is older than 35 years of age and still systematically trains and competes in events. The usual age to be considered for most sports is 35 but there are a few sports like golf (50 years) and swimming (25 years) that you might be older or younger and considered one. Rosa Lee Cunningham is a 52-year old African American female. She is 5-foot-1-inch, 145 pounds. Rosa Lee is married however, is living separately from her husband. She has eight adult children, Bobby, Richard, Ronnie, Donna (Patty), Alvin, Eric, Donald (Ducky) and one child who name she did not disclose. She bore her eldest child at age fourteen and six different men fathered her children. At Rosa Lee’s recent hospital admission to Howard University Hospital emergency room blood test revealed she is still using heroin. Though Rosa Lee recently enrolled in a drug-treatment program it does not appear that she has any intention on ending her drug usage. On this Friday, I came into a heaping load of work that would require me to callous my fingers typing the same information repeatedly–opening the claims, making a few phone calls, jotting down some notes in the file, scheduling vehicle inspections, and reviewing photos of damages, along with estimates. Auto insurance claims are never a one-person job; there are usually several individuals assisting to help find the best possible solution. While scrambling to check items off the long to-do list and sorting my load, I met my nemesis. This customer had a question that I did not readily have an answer to. My supervisor came in to save the day, with a satisfying solution. Especially grateful for the assistance, I felt an obligation to express my gratitude. With an already open file, I quickly typed thank you. Later that day, however, Celia scolded me about my comments being a waste of time. Stirring in me a painful sensation began to change my life. Working in a team setting helped me to realize that we learn most about ourselves through our interactions with others.
