49003 - Little Talbot Island State Park
Little Talbot Island State Park rests on an undeveloped barrier island in northeast Florida. Only one of a few such natural environments, the park covers the 2,500-acre island property. Little Talbot has grown larger than Big Talbot Island over the years. Erosion washed sands from the previously larger site and deposited them on Little Talbot.
Just northeast of Jacksonville, this park contains five miles of unobstructed coastline. Five boardwalks provide access to white sand beaches, sand bars and clear water. And, the quiet, not crowded shoreline offers plenty of family fun.

The coastline of Little Talbot Island offers swimming sans lifeguard. In other words, at your own risk. Just be alert. The ocean presents various degrees of danger. The treasures of the ocean appear most abundantly during low tide. This time of day exposes clam, scallop, oyster and periwinkle. The shell line boasts discoveries where the highest waves grace the shores with shell deposits as well. Please remember that driftwood is protected in Florida and should remain where found.

One of the best vacation spots and most fun are down the shore in Wildwood, New Jersey. Wildwood consists of a boardwalk with tons of rides and fun, a beach with a beautiful ocean, and little summerhouses with ocean-side views. The best attractions though would probably be located on the boardwalk. There are so many things to see and do. Although it’s rather costly, it’s well worth it and it’s a great place for a family to share quality time together.
Somewhere in Nova Scotia, there exist a beautiful park with fascinating scenery. It is in an island that’s surrounded by bodies of water that sparkles like crystals as the sun shine on it. This park must be a creation of aphrodite and it is also known as Cape Breton Highlands Park. It is located at Cheticamp and Ingonish, Cape Breton island, Nova Scotia. It has an area of
I have lived in a little town called Packwood all my life and it is the last town on Highway 12, you see before you enter the park. Since I was little, I spent my summer camping and being in the park. My father sells campfire wood in two of the bigger campgrounds in the park, White River and Ohanapecosh Campground. So I would join him and help him with the firewood, so I grew up in the park. There are so many things you can do in the park, like hiking up to a former fire lookout, hiking down into a lake and fishing.
There are very few roads in the park, so travel down as many possible. Just sticking to site on the roads will allow you to see every environment this magnificent park has to offer.
California’s most ravishing views must be its coastline. There are amazing, refined, long stretches of beaches that offer a wide variety of sceneries. Beautiful white sand coming from Santa Monica, Long Beach and Big Sur. All types of people from the state of California to people from Florida enjoy California beaches. Some even like to hang loose and surf on the waves coming off the coast. Incredible evenings make families in California come together to watch the sun set. Florida beaches are not just well known in the USA but all around the world. Beaches that come to mind are Miami, Clearwater, and Sarasota beach. Miami beach is considered one of the “sexiest beaches in America.” With all the parties thrown on the beach, spring break is a local one stop for students that are coming out of Miami University. Clearwater beach, years ago, was ranked as the number one beach on the planet, with its white powdery sand and super clear water. Sarasota beach is quiet, and one can hear the natural crashing of the waves hitting the shore that sooths anybody trying to relax and enjoy their
June, July and August excursions to the T.V.A. impoundments in northern Alabama and the large power impoundments in central Alabama produce big crappies. Best fishing is from boats anchored in relatively deep water. Use lanterns, minnows.
Food: Restaurants, snack bars and a small market at the South Rim are located in the Grand Canyon Village. Since you will likely spend quite some time going from a viewpoint to another, it’s a good idea to bring along lots of snacks. The park offers free drinking water, and they tell everybody to bring reusable bottles to re-fill as much as they want.
As I walk towards the ocean with the sand warm beneath my feet, the waves lap at my ankles, seeming as if they want to pull me out to sea. The sun rises over the horizon, reflecting off the waves and shimmering like gold. The salt air smells tangy as it stings my nose with the smell I crave while I am away from the ocean. The Outer Banks in North Carolina has been my favorite place to go from my first memories. I look forward to going there every summer because there at the ocean I feel at home. It is a place where I can forget every stress in my life and be totally at peace. It is a place where my family can spend time together, not like at home where we all have activities and places to be. The Outer Banks is not a beach where the ocean is forgotten; there is no partying and no boardwalks, nothing but nature to fill your days there. The beach is not crowded to the point where it is hard to even walk to the beach ,and looking for shells is not even an option. This beach is a very peaceful and surreal place. The noises of people do not overwhelm you at this beach; all you can hear are the sea gulls and the waves.
