In every relationship there needs to be some type of control. Either the man or woman could be in control. No one Should sex a relationship for example, making the woman clean and stay home but the man is able to run around and have a job, more than likely go and cheat on the poor woman too. In Macbeth, Lady Macbeth had so much control in their relationship that Macbeth had to get the control back. Whenever Lady Macbeth went crazy Macbeth had the chance and took the power back. Bradley wrote about her as “…the most commanding and perhaps the most awe-inspiring figure that Shakespeare drew” from his article titled Lecture X. She became a image known for her ambitious nature. Her thirst for power and disregard for life was shocking to the audience, as to her own husband. The moment she learns of the prophecies, she decides to stand behind Macbeth and see him to the throne. She is immediately set on her quest for more power. She goes as far as telling him his love his worth nothing if he refuses, which proves her to be dominant and controlling using his own weakness against him. His love for her. They can be as sweet as candy , or very violent or harmful at times. In this case, i believe relationships will not work .

Lady Macbeth the cruel, ruthless and heartless instigator of the murder and the women who motivates her husband to gain Kingship through the most brutal and inhumane means. A loving yet cold hearted pair, Macbeth and his Lady plan, plot and execute murders to gain the Scottish crown. Along the way they show their eminent differences and underlying similarities. Through their cold heartedness both achieve the ambitious dreams that lie close to their hearts. Macbeth to be crowned and his wife to see him crowned. But out of the murders rises an overlying feeling which seemingly neither has the strength to combat, the remorseful pangs of conscience. Finally the pair overcome by their actions both, succumb to this powerful and yet unseen faculty. Macbeth is murdered and his Lady commits suicide. The traits which the pair exhibit during the play share a common similarity and sameness but, are manifest at different points throughout. Both share ambition, creed and a blood thirsty desire, and through their underlying love for each other, they both finally achieve these ambitions which eventually lead to their downfall.

The play is about a love triangle with a hint of drama and magic. From what I read, when characters from the play wanted to control someone, it backtracked and slapped them in the face with more drama and confusion. Having the authority over someone is hard and very unpredictable. Some characters from the play found out about this the hard way.

Macbeth asks her, ?If we should fail?? and she strongly replies, ?We fail! / But screw your courage to the sticking-place, / And we?ll not fail.? Whenever he is backing down she pushes him forward again. This is where a major flaw of our protagonist comes in. Macbeth cannot escape the trap of listening to his wife. He is subject to her commands and he knows it.
The struggle for power and control in Macbeth is present from the very beginning, as Shakespeare portrays Lady Macbeth as a ruthless, overpowering woman who dominates her husband and his actions. She makes Macbeth's decisions for him without giving him any say in his own actions, and she orders her husband to do what she determines to be best for him. It is Lady Macbeth who contrives the plan to kill King Duncan, because she knows that Macbeth would never commit such an act on his own without her prodding. She develops the plan and organizes the details while expecting Macbeth to merely follow her orders. This becomes evident when she says to him, "Only look up clear,"(1.5.70) and "leave the rest to me"(1.5.72). She intends to keep him under her control by making decisions for him and not allowing him to think for himself.
