Introduction Essay
Many people assume they know people, in reality no one can really know a person fully. There are always secrets, emotions, and thoughts people keep to themselves. These internal secrets make it difficult to understand each human individually. My job is to make sure by the end of this essay, you know Kylia Morrison better than you did when she first walked through the classroom door Monday morning.
Starting out her life it seemed nearly perfect, but like most things... Nothing is as it seems. Kylia was born in Denver Colorado on July 11th , 2000 and lived there for three years before her mom and dad decided to buy a business in Dunnellon, Florida. Her mother and father packed her things up along with her older brother Hunter, and moved down south to open a bait and tackle shop across from the Withlacoochee River. She was only three when she moved and stayed at home with her mother during the day when she worked the shop or at home while her father went to work and her brother started school. Academically she had always been chasing her brother’s shadow, and has been fighting since fifth grade to step out from behind it. Athletics became her salvation and she began to stand out and start becoming more independent. She played five sports in middle school; Basketball, Volleyball, Track, Football Cheer leading, and Basketball Cheer leading. She grew more of an interest in volleyball and practiced during off season independently as often as she could to keep up with it in high school. She found volleyball as a stress reliever, along with weightlifting. Being a part of sports made her feel like she has generally stood out from her brother, leaving her with more aspirations and seeking a future in academics and athletics. With lots of motivation behind her to be different from her brother she continues to strive and build as an independent young
