Juniper 'June' Dawson had been in a unhappy, loveless marriage to Jake for the past TH R E E years. It wasn't always unhappy the first year was good and she was happy but then the next year it started to become difficult. Most of it due to the fact that Jake who was Thïrtëen years her senior wanted to have kids. She didn't mind she loved kids but figured they would come with time. Still she loved him and wanted to make him happy so she agreed to try. Yet she could never seem to get pregnant even though they tried to make it possible. She took natural remedies, kept track of her ovulation, stopped drinking, exercised. After a year of trying Jake started going out cheating, coming home plastered and fight with her. He didn't dare divorce her …show more content…

After years of trying she's should have given up and she did but now she wants a child. It's no longer about making Jake happy it's for herself. It's the first time they've bother to go to an actual specialist to see what's wrong. Mostly they've just followed advice from other people and whatever they picked up online or in books. She had given Jack an ultimatum actually they try this or she'll file for divorce and even if there was no love between them he didn't want that so he agreed. They follow the nurse to the room and sit in a office. Juniper is nervous biting the side of her thumb while Jake looks bored and uninterested on his phone. It's not long until a Doctor (y/c) comes in looking at her file “Juniper Dawson?” June stands up holding her hand out looking slightly flustered at the man “June.. hi.” Jake looks up at the man and says in a bored tone “Jake.” The doctor (y/c) starts explaining a few things and June nods along glancing at the pack she's given while jack pretends to be interested until his phone rings. June glances at it seeing the name 'Rose' and she rolls her eyes knowing it's his girlfriend. Jake stands up “uhh it's work.. i gotta take it.” June waves him off and turns to look at (y/c) looking slightly ashamed as Jake leaves “sorry he's just always busy.” The doctor shrugs and continues to tell her about all the options when Jake comes in bright red. June
