It is daytime and King Duncan and I along with Malcolm, Donalbain, Banquo, Lennox, Macduff, Ross, Angus, and their servants entered Macbeth’s castle. King Duncan is in good spirits as Lady Macbeth comes down to greet him, he says he is only staying for one night. Although i’ve noticed that Macbeth has not come down to greet his cousin, King Duncan. I look up and see him on the second floor looking down at King Duncan, Lady Macbeth and the rest of us. The expression in his face leads me to believe that something is bothering him, he seems disturbed. The night is now upon us and King Duncan, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Banquo and I as well as others are attending the party held at Macbeth’s and Lady Macbeth’s castle. Now, Lady Macbeth has come out to speak to Macbeth and she looks irritated. I overhear Macbeth “We will proceed no further in this business.” He also says something about Duncan honoring him. Lady Macbeth has started crying. Still crying, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth return to the party and I can tell that Macbeth is getting angry, he walks away from Lady Macbeth. But on the hallway above them Lady Macbeth runs by and goes to the king’s room. Banquo mentions that he is having trouble sleeping. Banquo says to Macbeth that he had a dream about the Weird sisters, Macbeth, on the other hand, says that he does not think about them. Later that night I see Macbeth on the second floor and he is acting strange, he’s possibly drunk. (Party goers were only drinking wine). He seems to be talking to someone or something, he is now following something and as he is following it I see him take out his dagger as he walks toward the King’s door, when he gets near the king’s door a bell rings but i’m not sure where it came
