This case involved a public high school student, Matthew Fraser who gave a speech nominating another student for a student elective office. The speech was given at an assembly during school as a part of a school-sponsored educational program in self-government. While giving the speech, Fraser referred to his candidate in what the school board called "elaborate, graphic, and explicit metaphor." After his speech, the assistant principal told Fraser that the school considered the speech a violation of the school's "disruptive-conduct rule." This prohibited conduct that interfered with the educational process, including obscene, profane language or gestures. After Fraser admitted he intentionally had used sexual innuendo in the speech, he was told that he would be suspended from school for three days, and his name would be removed from the list of the speakers at the graduation exercises.
For this assignment I choose to attend a Los Angeles Clippers game even though I am a big Lakers fan; mainly because it better fit into my budget and the appeal of watching this young high flying team made it seem like it was going to be a good night. Going into the game it was being dubbed as the “battle of the double-doubles” as the Minnesota Timberwolves led by Kevin Love and his 28 straight double doubles took on Blake Griffin and his 26 straight double doubles.

This group removed a feminist-curated art exhibition held in conjunction with the conference. They felt that videos showing prostitutes at work was pornographic and unacceptable(Faigley & Selzer, 539).
Before the claymation group, California Raisins, became popular people shunned raisins because of their appearance. I stared at the blinking cursor, unbelieving at what I had just done. I was indeed done; done with a paper I agonized over for 6 hours. The paper was due in a scant 4 hours and I had all week to do it. The radio had stopped working because my brother got on the Internet and thus cut off my connection. That was the least of my problems working on this paper. I got it done, though. My life changed with one trip of a teacher to the chalkboard and one phrase, narrative essay. God, I hate narrative essays.
I almost fell off a cliff on the side of a mountain. I was in Pitkin, Colorado, on a camping trip during the summer of 2009. The trees were green, the air was fresh so were the lakes, rivers, and ponds were stocked with fish and wildlife was everywhere. Usually, on these camping trips, I would be accompanied by a large number of people. However, this time, it was just my parents, my three brothers, and my two sisters. I was almost 12 years old at the time and having three older brothers made me very competitive. All through high school I thought about what I would do for my senior trip. I knew I wanted to be with my closest friends: Katie, Grant, and Madison. I wanted to do something I have never done before. It just so happened that a cruise was something we all could experience for the first time. We asked a lot of our classmates to go, but it ended up being just us three, which was a good thing. Once it became official we counted down the days until we got to walk on Cozumel, Jamaica, and Cayman Islands’ beaches.

Chocolate chip cookies are easy to make and are a favorite of both children and adults. Chocolate chip cookies are one of the most convenient treats to take to potlucks, family holidays, and to give as gifts. Out of all the recipes for chocolate chip cookies that I have tried, I have can conclude that this recipe is the best! With only these steps, you can eat them whenever you want wherever and are very easy to carry around. Be prepared to make the best chocolate chip cookies you’ve ever eaten!
The elevation was not friendly to my brother and stole the majority of his oxygen. We hurriedly purchased the overpriced souvenirs and decided to head back down. Exiting the building, we caught a glimpse of the breathless view. My mother noticed that it was in alignment with the Pike’s Peak sign and decided that we should huddle together quickly for a photo. We had a stranger take the picture and we headed down the mountain.
It was June 22nd, a beautiful day. The temperature was at about 90 degrees and it was very sunny. I was on big nice scuba diving boat along with the other eight divers on the trip and captain and co-captain. The boat was headed to an island about two hours away called "Seal Island"; it was called that because of all the sea lions that inhabit it. When we arrived at the island the captain stopped and anchored the boat. I immediately jumped in the water and started snorkeling while all the other divers were still on the boat putting on their scuba equipment.
Decided to go on an adventure of a lifetime. We walked about a mile to some rural area. I was extremely breathless considering the vast amount of heat and the lack of water in this over dry, drought-prone place. It was as though the sun was trying to punish me. I walked through the densest part of the forest and eventually came to a clearing of the sand.
A mistake I made was spending too much time on research, and not enough time on piecing together the essay, but it was not something out of my reach. Since I have a strong command in persuasion, I did not have to spend an extensive amount of time when it came to concluding each paragraph with pathos. The toughest part of composing this essay was concentrating on theis. It was very easy to linger in the stories of the people who were influenced my my main character. So, as i got closer to the end of my paper, i realized that I was nearing m page limit, with content still left to explain. Once I finished the draft of the paper, I had to go back to revise and edit to make sure all my major points were included to prove my thesis stated in the first
