Extremism is no longer become a local phenomenon, nowadays it become the global threat that caused a significant pain. It continuously spread its sphere of influence and operation in the world throughout time. Formerly, the term extremism intrinsically used to contribute a lot in the positive movements. Extremism had driven human to enter the new era with better way of thinking. However, nowadays the term of extremism mostly refers to the use of violences, religions, political agendas, or ideological purposes that ended up as a global catastrophe. Going beyond any borders extremism poses a danger to the subjects of international relations and for international security as well. This paper will elucidate the extremism cases—the global issue He fought against racial segregation by creating his famous speech “I have a dream” that had been inspiring for many people. Moreover, there were also Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Malcom X those were addressed as an extremist but later accepted being as pioneers for change and become the representative of positive extremism term. The purpose of extremist way itself actually is a good goal for the sake of solving the problem. Nevertheless, based on the real facts that we face today, extremism is more likely present a security threat which linked to the death and fear. The term of extremism performs as a crime based on hate against certain groups of people who are different based on their race, religious, background, gender characteristics and others. Currently, extremists’ actions such as bombing have been causing death and terrors. Therefore, extremism is no longer exist in a way it used to be Caused by view people, created more people with lazy assumption that linked terrorism to certain religion let just say blaming on Muslims. For instance, 9/11 causes the 2976 American people that lost their lives, while there are 48,644 Afghan and 1,690,903 Iraqi and 35000 Pakistani people that paid the ultimate price for a crime they did not commit. In the year after 9/11, the Council on American-Islamic Relations reported 1,714 hate crimes against Muslims throughout the United States The ascribed status of individuals being Muslims and their choice of declaring themselves as terrorists in the name of Islam does not mean that they are true followers of the religion and have been theologically and spiritually inspired by it. (Kumar H.M. and Sanjeev, 2015). Furthermore, after 9/11 the mindset towards muslim americans create the term of islamophobia that has been causing the suffering of innocent muslims. In fact, if the individuals follow the whole certain religion’s rule they will not found any religion that ask the followers to do favour by forcing other people and violence by killing and bombing.
