The issue of graduates employment after graduation from higher educational institutions is extremely topical. Young professionals face hard market conditions. Currently, young people are the largest group of the unemployed in Kazakhstan. Elena Yarmonova in the article «Problems of graduates employment in Kazakhstan» contents that youth represent more than 30 % of the total number of registered unemployed (2013). In addition, 25 - 25 % of the total aggregate of unemployed youth are graduates (2013). This statistic proves that this problem requires an immediate solution. The best ways to solve the problem of graduates’ unemployment is complication of university admission and quality practices and internship during studies.
There are many factors which influenced the development of this problem. Among them are a huge number of graduates with higher education, graduates without work experience, employers do not trust the quality of graduates’ knowledge and excessive demands on the part of the employers. One of the most popular reasons why it happened is a huge number of graduates with higher education. For example, total number of students in the city of Almaty in 2013 is 256 803 persons (Amirali, 2013). It becomes clear that such a large number of students just do not get jobs. But every year the number of incoming students is growing, and the number of jobs does not increase.
The second reason that caused the problem of graduates’ employment is graduates without work experience. This is one of the main obstacles to employment. In conclusion, There are several ways for solving employment problems after graduation. In this essay was reviewed two decisions, one of which is a complication of entrance examinations, another is practice while studying. Considering these solving becomes clear that the most powerful solution is practice. Since it contains more positive qualities such as work experience, opportunities to get a job in that company in which the student was an intern, and so on. The second solution is weak as a complication of examinations leads to a good quality of knowledge, but not all can contribute to getting a job.
I would like to recommend to students have practical training during studies. This is the best way to have experience in work. Graduated people will have good opportunities to have job.
