If a person has a smart phone, they can access the Internet using their smart phone for the search. One of the best advantages of easily obtainable information is it can be accessed anywhere and anytime. Fast food restaurants and other establishments offer free WiFi. A person may take their device into such an establishment and search all they want. With the Internet, a person can search for their information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. The major disadvantage of easily obtainable information is at times the information found is unreliable and questionable. If a person is unsure of the reliability of the information, they must verify the information before using it. The information may also be found on sites that aren’t secure. One increases their chances of bein hacked by using social media. The risks of viruses and malwares increase. On social media sometimes the truth is altered by lies and rumors. Social media causes distractions at school, work and takes away from families time together.
