John Adams had positive and negative effects on society he had rejected to go into any political conflict but it undermined his effectiveness and lost him the second election. John Adams had many amazing accomplishments like officially ending the Revolutionary war. He also helped negotiate the treaty of Paris in 1783, The treaty of Paris ended the american revolutionary war and identified the 13 colonies as free states.
