When phones first came out there was a slew of options. You could choses from any company and get a good flip phone or a regular phone that does calls and texts. However in 2007 that all changed when apple was the first company to produce a smartphone. This isn't the first time Apple produced something that changed the world. In 1976 apple came out with the first computer that could be bought to normal households, and In early 1999, apple wrapped its new line of iMac computers in coloured plastic panels and introducing them in a range of five fruity "flavours"--grape, tangerine, strawberry, blueberry and lime.(George) People went crazy over it and the love for apple has been crazy ever since. So how is it that even thought with other options on the market Apple seems to always be the go to? Apple isn't worried about the competition. All because the companies are realistically worlds apart in branding. Apple is known worldwide and known to be a good product. Also Apple buys samsung's hardware that makes up most of their own products. For example they buy the chip that goes into an iPod from samsung. Another thing is that apple will design objects and software but make samsung make it. Even though Samsung makes all of this technology they are not allowed to use any of it for their own products(LaPedus). This makes Apple more dominant in the device aspect of the world by controlling what Samsung can do with materials and makes them produce some of the technology needed for Apples devices. Apple gets the advantages over Samsung and can release their products sooner and faster. This makes Apple more desirable in the eyes of the human consumer. Not only does Apple have dominance of the technology world but it also has a large sum of profit it makes over being a dominant force that consumers flock …show more content…
Apple did not grow with our culture, our culture grew with apple. That is heavily presented as over the years the cult following to apple is in the millions. Almost every year for three decades apple has produced a device that gained a following to it. People compare the coming of Apple to Gutenberg's invention of the printing press. Now when the printing press came out for this first time in the 1440s it forever changed how life would be. Things would be able to spread around and words would be put to paper. The comparison between the two shows that the idea of Apple’s industry changed the world forever. We now have everything at our fingertips. With this carries the internet, social media and a way to communicate with someone in seconds without actually hearing their voice. Our world (at least in most countries) revolve around this. Apple helps provided it all with the computers, the phone, ipods and ipads. If we didn't have apple the culture behind social media and the instant knowing of everything may not be so relevant. That culture is largely what makes our own culture. If apple was never created we would have a missing gap in our culture. Apple largely made us how we are today, and how we function as a society. The company produces million in profit all because of the

Apple is a king in the technology world; poisoning every area of the industry that they have introduced a product too. They are slowly weeding their competition out. The only a company thrives in the thorn bush market is if they are in cahoots with apple. Apples co-founder Steve Jobs, started the company with all intention of dominating the market. Apple has its competitors, as it is expected, and they do not fall behind by much. One of its biggest competitors is the company Samsung. For years, those two companies have been head to head in the electronical world. All over the web one can find all sorts of articles talking about the conflicts of those two companies and about how they each claim that the other one took their products and just changed its name. But thankfully, those two companies are still strong (no matter how much people complain about the other one) and they both have a lot of people supporting them. There are two sides when talking about phone and electronics: the Apple side and the Samsung side. Now, what those two companies need to be careful about is to not let their guards down and allow the competition to take over, but then again, Apple is well... Apple and they would never let that happen (they have not done it for almost 50 years, they would not do it

This means that one of their devices, such as the iPad works very much like the iPhone and many of the apps run one device just as they do on the other. The only difference would be the size of the product. Apples laptop is larger than the iPad which is larger than the iPhone. Otherwise these products share the same functionality and information through connectivity.
