If The United States of America did Better with Assessing it's Social Issues, Gun Violence may Not be Prevalent Today

The topic of gun violence in the United States of America has an overwhelming amount of spectrums therefore to the extent I would like to focus on how to minimize gun violence in the workplace and educational settings. I read an article from the City Lab, called "The Geography of U.S. Gun Violence" by Richard Florida on December 14, 2012. Mr. Florida has maps within the article detailing the cities, with the most data detailing gun violence.” Where he and his col-leagues decided to "examine the social or economic characteristics that are associated with gun deaths at the metro level.”

Gun ownership comes with great responsibility. Even with understanding the historical context of the Second Amendment and the importance part of our rights as U.S. citizens, the safety of our children and families is far more important. …show more content…
