My decision to apply for a graduate program at the University of Toledo is driven by my aspirations to pursue a research career in the field of Applied Mathematics. This field interests me because of its wide-ranging application, and excitement to study. I believe that a strong and thorough background as well as a complete awareness of recent developments is essential for an intellectually stimulating and satisfying research career. Towards realizing this objective at an esteemed department, such as yours, I am applying to your university. An objective analysis of my background, interests, strengths and weakness lead me to believe that I will be successful both as a graduate student, and later as a professional Mathematician and researcher.

Despite the very limited resources, I completed my high school from Amar Higher Secondary School with first division and securing first position among hundred and fifty students. Among the Mathematics courses offered in high school; some of the topics such as Calculus and its application, linear programming, number theory and logics were quite new for me, and they further made me more curious about their application in our lives. After High School, I majored Mathematics and Economics at the Undergraduate level. I found the use of Mathematics and statistics through Economics which encouraged me to gain more advance knowledge in Mathematics. I was impressed by the logical proofs and solutions connected with various theorems and problems on the Mathematics courses I studied there. Besides, Mathematics and Statistics for Economics, Micro and Macro Economics attracted me to use the mathematical concepts and their applications in various Economic
