He has been hunting all his life since he was a little boy, hunting is his only interest.”God, made me a hunter. My hand was made for the trigger, my father said” General Zaroff has hunted every game and animal it would be impossible to count. General Zaroff is a cold hearted person but yet smart. He doesn't care about the animal's feelings. He wants to play a game with Rainsford which isn't really a game it's more like killing each other. He has killed animals and human beings. Now General Zaroff is targeting Rainsford on his own island which give Zaroff many advantages he also has Ivan . Zaroff plan is to find a new animal to hunt but Rainsford realizes what’s he's talking about and says “hunting? You must speaking of murder” General Zaroff tells Rainsford they should be civilized, he shows Rainsford he's training schools. Zaroff now is offering Rainsford to a game. The game is hunting each other, General Zaroff will give him supply of food and a excellent hunting knife. General Zaroff told Rainsford he has not lost to date. Rainsford agrees to play his game , they play & it's very intense . Rainsford defeats General Zaroff , Rainsford wins the game
