The story of the Gadbury sisters is a documentary which the descendants of each sister shares their heritage, beliefs and where they originated from, giving insights on their convicted family history. Caroline, Sarah and Maryann were the three troublesome sisters, which were categorized to be very clever and organized with their convict offenses. Starting at age twelve these three sisters began their rebellious missions with robberies and shoplifting from Londoners. Through time the Gadbury sisters formed generations and generations of descendants although the concept of Gadbury family history changed over time as told by each descendant of the three sisters. Caroline Gadbury, known as the most defiant sister who got a more intimate feel off going against the law, comprised of forty to fifty robberies while shoplifting two to three times a day. Sarah Gadbury the second sister would also engage in these convict offenses with Caroline as well. Madeleine Ogilrie has a career being a Tasmanian Labor Politician, whereas Michael Slabbery has a career as judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Both descendants with very good careers explain their unruly great-great grandmother as smart because in each trial there was no evidence traced back to Caroline’s various cases. Although having an ancestor that was known as a convict didn’t at all offend them but of course Madeleine and Michael did not want to be categorized as currency and/or ex-convicts. Their convicted heritage remains in their family history but did not influence their lives in the present, reason being because both him and her obtained a career and made a living for themselves and their families by working and forming a different path from what their roots
