Recommended: Importance of getting good grades in high school

Throughout my academic career, my test scores and transcripts have been a pretty accurate representation of my intellect and my work ethic. However, there are some issues involving my GPA and class rank. In my sophomore year, I decided that I wanted to get ahead in math in order to prepare for future classes. However, due to the timing of this decision, the only way I would be able to finish both geometry and pre-cal would be to do them online through Midway’s excel program. Although getting ahead allowed me to take Calculus my junior year, I was not able to get a weighted credit for the semesters of geometry and pre-cal taken, which resulted in a drop in my GPA.
