There are a lot of people who either wonder or believe that violent media is bad for people and mostly children. Not all violent media is bad. Sometimes when people have a stressful day they will play video games to let off steam. A few people like watching horror movies because of the thrill of being scared. But if you’re a kid with no friends or you are alone most of the time, you might enjoy comic books. They are filled with action and heroes. Doing any of these can give off a sense of adventure, thrill, and excitement. It doesn’t mean that you’re going to go off and start hurting people because of it. There is a lot of evidence that states the media affects viewers by encouraging violent behavior and weakening their creative ability. The question is whether the media is truly the problem, or is it the parental role that is the problem.
“Friday Night Lights” is a 2004 movie directed by Peter Berg, based on the true story “Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream” written by H.G. Bissinger. This analysis is about the Permian High School Panther’s emotional journey to a state championship. In this film we see how an array of emotions, including, conflict, counterfeit emotions, mixed emotions, self-concept, self-esteem, debilitative emotions, facilitative emotions, reflected appraisal, self-fulfilling prophecy, non-listening, and social exchange theory affect a football team.
It’s based off of the book “Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream”, which is based off of a true story. The movie follows a high school football team in Odessa, Texas. Within the Trinity evangelical church they use Halloween, more known as a pagan holiday, as an opportunity to reach and commit young people to Christ. They do this with the creation of the Hell House. As much as the Hell House is a fright tactic they will argue otherwise and claim the haunted house to be for educational purposes. Each Halloween they begin the Hell House by putting a think group together where they share ideas and work to create a show that fulfills their religious purposes. After ideas are taken scripts are written and rewritten. This process was shown as well as the auditions that were held for these roles in Hell House. The majority of these acting roles for Hell House are made for young adults at Trinity’s private school within the church. After all the building and preparation that goes into the Hell House the viewer finally gets to see the reality Trinity Church worked so hard to portray. When you see the ins and outs of what the church does to scare the people who come through, as a viewer you are mortified. Their lines they use are vulgar and the scenes are personal. At some moments all one can do is wide eyed watch in horror not out of fright, but shock. While other times the class laughed out of astonishment. Their attempts are not out of love like they claim for God’s children, but
Boston nightlife has some of the hottest and most popular venues in the country in its realm, and visitors to the city often scurry once the sun goes down to find those hot spots. The city has been an integral part of American history, but those who know the city well know that it is much more than that.

The album American Idiot was communicating one main message. That George W. Bush was wrong to demonise all muslims are the same and are all part of the Taliban. They described George W. Bush as a racist and predaceous towards the innocent muslims that just wanted to live there life in the safety of America and escape all the war and death that lurks in there war torn countries.
I attended the USF event Take Back the Night on April 14, and it was an eye-opening experience that I was very fortunate to have had exposure to. The event consisted of a silent march, a speak-out for survivors, and a candlelight vigil, all to raise awareness for sexual violence. Take Back the Night gave victims (survivors) of sexual violence the chance to share their stories to help them gain back their strength and support from the audience. I have never participated in an event with the level of emotion like Take Back the Night, and I believe it has drastically changed my perspective on everything, whether it be the people in my lives or the environment I am in. I was also able to apply what I’ve learned in Human Sexual Behavior to expand my critical thinking when participating in the event.
Students often struggle with the unique personalities of their teachers. One of the many struggles of school is getting along with every type of teacher. Some students wish there was a technical support operator to call and walk them through the variety of educators they encounter. The multiple personalities along with the teaching styles, it is often necessary to observe each teacher carefully in order to understand them and the necessary requirements of that class.
