During the Holocaust the Nazis had ____ the killing of 6 million Jews. They believed in creating a so called master race called the Aryan race, this meant everyone being predominantly of German or other European race. Also purely because of Anti-Semitism which was the Hatred and prejudice that led Nazis into killing Jews.
These methods of extermination were used for the killings of 6 million Jews as well as other ‘inferior’ races, people with disabilities or homosexuals, during the Holocaust in 1933 to 1945. Here are some examples of methods of extermination.
Mass shootings were one form off extermination that happened during the Holocaust. Jews would be captured or arrested, then forced to dig their own graves or a mass grave, they would then be shot so their bodies would fall …show more content…

The prisoners would have to sleep on hard wooden or brick barracks. These would be filled with up to 700 other men and women . They also carried some diseases as they were very unsanitary. The prisoners would also only get a small amount to eat each day. As they lacked nutrition it often led to death.
The Third Reich as part of a public euthanasia program used gas chambers in the 1930s and 1940s. Six gas chambers were placed for this euthanasia program in Bernburg, Brandenburg, Grafeneck, Hadamar, Harthein and Sonnenstein. The preferred gas was carbon monoxide, contained in metal cylinders. Most chambers would be destroyed or dismantled when soviet troops would get close.
Mobile killing squads would act swiftly, and would take the Jewish population by surprise. They would enter a town a round up all Jewish civilians wether they were women, men or children. They were forced to give up any valuables and then made to take all their clothes off, which was later used for Germany or distributed to local collaborators. The victims would then be led out to an open field or forest before being shot and put into a mass
