According to Forbes, The Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable franchise in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys are worth close to 4 billion dollars, and have not played in the Super Bowl since I graduated high school in 1996. All over the country when the Dallas Cowboys are playing millions of people are watching. People line up at stores to purchase anything in blue and white with the infamous logo. The Dallas Cowboys are often referred to as “America’s team.” The Dallas Cowboys success as the most valuable franchise can be traced to its passionate fans that have ignited others to also become Dallas Cowboy fanatics. The same passion for the Dallas Cowboys can also be duplicated for a campus incorporating some of those same ideas Jerry Jones has used to ignite fans and create a passion for the home team. …show more content…

The products of passion for learning in students and staff must be visually displayed and championed daily. Similar to the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor, a campus that shows passion must also recognize those students and staff showing passion for each other by being visually recognized. The staff and student’s best efforts must be recognized. The Ring of Passion will serve as a daily reminder that hard work and dedication will be recognized. Jerry Jones also connected with the fan base by identifying what his fans where passionate about.
To ignite a passion in every child for learning, we must also find out what passions students and staff by developing relationship capacity with students and staff. A deep personal understanding of each other’s dreams, desires and hopes are critical in creating and developing a passion for learning.
