Edgar Allan Poe was really famous for writing stories that included madness, revenge, and tragic fate. Before Edgar Allan Poes famous writings he had written other poems that got him much attention but was sent to a Military Academy. The lack of financial support made Edgar Allan Poe leave and start selling short stories in magazines in 1835. The next ten years he would edit literary journalists, during these years he declared himself as a poet, short story writer, and an editor. He then published his most famous tales which were “The Fall of the House of Usher” “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Raven”. His imaginative stories and tales of mystery and horror gave a new begining to the modern detective stories. (“Edgar Allan Poe Biography”, 2017).
