Have you ever been walking down a street and saw a torn up building or a horrible looking apartment complex, did you know that kids might live there? With no power living paycheck to paycheck in poverty. There living like this but they're trying to help. About 1.2 million kids drop out if high school every year the 26 kids a second, people think the more should be done because 25% of freshmen fail to graduate on time, and some people think that it's fine because that's their decision and they may have to drop out to support their family. If there giving them the ability to drop out at that age people can't get mad when they do because they are giving them the chance to at that age. Without kids dropping out they will finish school and they will be more educated, than if they dropped out because doing that they lose the education for the next few years that they might need. If the kids finish school they will be able to get a good paying job and they can have a good home and with them not dropping out. when they have kids then their kid can grow up in a nice place not poverty and they will most likely finish school, but when they drop out their making it were they and when they have kids will live in poverty because the parent didn't get the best education they could have got right then. Getting a good paying job is a must in this day and age there is so much that we need and or want, but dropping out of school hurts the kids it sets them down the path to be poor and live in poverty because they don't have all the education to get a good job so this is why the dropout age needs to be
