Increase of Drones in Today’s Society Drones in today’s society have been used in an act of war and have become one of the major parts in our military. Drones have been a big issue that we see on the news how they deal with issues we face, and by doing it without sending a man to risk his/her life on the battlefield. As this seems like a good idea, drones are better due to the fact that they are machines, and that it requires less man power then sending troops on the ground to do the task at hand. Even though drones have improved our warfare, it can also hurt us if, it gets captured and used in the wrong hands. As they can be used for military business, the can also be used for non-military purposes, such as: filming, photography, or special events (Drones. 2017)
As we view the news in today’s world, by viewing the news of U.S. being present in the Middle East, we often hear about the information of drones either being sent out for attacks or they are used as reconnaissance to spy on what certain organizations are doing. As drones develop capabilities, they pose as a threat to people and every that is around them. Drones are of importance because they can be seen as something that can protect us, like for instance with military, it can help us feel safer due to the fact that we are being watched and made sure that everything is alright. On the other hand, we do not know if the government is using these cameras to spy on us and see everything we do.
