Power is distributed in various ways between stakeholders for gender issues in the workplace for gender issues in the workplace the stakeholders; people who are affected by the issue at hand would be women. Women are mistreated in the workplace at all levels from waitress to even being a CEO it is very hard for men to see their women coworkers as equals. They are mistreated because men feel that they are above women when working that women should stay at home or don’t think they have the power to do the same exact job, and just as well as the men. Even though there is an equal pay act of 1963 which states, “protects men and women who perform substantially equal work in the same establishment from sex-based wage discrimination”; this law is in place men in the workplace still find ways to get around it. The distribution of power in various stakeholders belongs to the employees because the company simply cannot work without the employees. This is fair because the company wants the employees to feel that they are being treated right and in a safe working environment. If the power was distributed to the company and they didn’t have to comply with what the employees wanted we will be repeating moments from history of business, so that is why I feel that the power distributed to the employees is optimal. Managing employees, the distribution of power is not distributed optimal the way I see it. It would be if most managers were ready for that type of job but they aren’t. Not being ready for a job where you lead people hurts the people under the manager. The way that this can be changed if the workers above the mangers really train and prepare them to actually be a manager instead of just moving up the employee who does great at their job, because you can be a good worker and not a good
