Discrimination involves acting out with unfair treatment, directing the action towards the person/group. Discrimination is found among gender, religion, and culture. Some believe that discrimination is an unavoidable force in our lives, that's where they’re wrong. Discrimination is all around us, whether we know or we are just blind to it. Discrimination affects many lives around the world.

Many things tend to trigger and cause discrimination to be present. Discrimination is defined as prejudicial treatment of a person based on the group or category they belong in. The various causes of discrimination include the race of an individual, ethnicity, age, gender or sex and colour. Discrimination against girls and women in the developing world is a devastating reality. There are certain things a female can do, like for example the campaign for because I'm a girl. Many females are dying in countries where their is poverty because males are the superior one. Colorism disadvantages dark-skinned people, while privileging those with lighter skin.
