I am a very privileged individual. My environment has contributed to who I am as a person and has framed my college and career goals in the best way possible. From learning to appreciate the perspectives of different types of people and gaining the ability to turn everything into a learning experience to being pushed to strive for success, my environment has positively affected every aspect of my existence. Regarding my family, my parents have had a substantial impact on who I am as a person, my mother existing as one of the most influential individuals in my life. My friends are extremely valuable to me and crucial to my outlook on life, and provide diverse and genuine perspectives that I can discuss and use as a foundation for learning. Emotionally, my parental influence has molded the person I am by cultivating the special relationship I have with my parents and other adults. Always pushed to work hard and give the best version of myself possible, I have learned the value of ambition and fostered empathy towards others and their endeavors. I have learned to never take a helping hand for granted, and to never forget to offer one as well. Academically, my experiences with different groups of people have influenced who I am as a person and have affected my goals by presenting opportunities to interact and collaborate with such diverse individuals and cultures.
