Recommended: Off campus lunch policy

Why can’t we leave campus for lunch? I would enjoy being able to leave campus for lunch. I think that we should be given the right to leave campus for lunch. Even tho it may not seem right to the principle or the school board I choose to believe we could be trusted to leave campus for lunch everyday. I have also learned that our school is a completely closed campus meaning that you can’t leave the school the entire day. There should be a clause in the closed campus policy stating that students shall be able to leave campus if they have passing grades. I think this is a good clause because it rewards kids with good grades and encourages kids with low grades to get their grades up. Elementary and middle school campuses are closed. I argue this because if everyone got picked up for lunch then there wouldn’t be over crowded parking areas and people loitering. I understand that there would be a fairly large amount of kids that couldn’t leave school campus for lunch do to insufficient money or parents not being able to come get them. But for the kids who get good grades and have sufficient funds should be able to leave school. It would be a good agreement to leave school campus for lunch if you have good grades. …show more content…

Maybe a program to clean the lunchroom or pick up trash outside. I believe that the closed campus policy was made up as a way to protect over crowded parking areas or people getting hurt when they leave campus for lunch. And as a way to control the amount of people parking on school
