Henry M. Morris emphasizes the importance of Christian traditional education. It is a Bible-based, Christ-centered process to teach students skills, knowledge, obedience, and the attitude for the future service for the Lord Jesus Christ. However, the society is affected by different kinds of philosophies, such as evolutionsim, progressivism, and rationalism. The key problem of these influential philosophies is man-centered rather than God-centered. But, Christian education transmits the biblical principles to students. Morris says, “The main goals of such an education are threefold: the transmission of the truth; the training of individual students for productive lives in the will of God; and the development of corporate completeness in Christ” …show more content…

Readers are beneficial from this book. First of all, the academic vocabulary is used appropriately in the book. Readers do not need to look up words by words in the dictionary, especially for those people who are English as their second language.
Secondly, the terminology is explained well in this book. For example, when Morris mentions rationalism, he not only writes it down, but he also defines it. This helps readers better understand. The philosophic terms are also included in other books, but authors do not give the specific explanation. Readers have to spend more time doing research to help them understand. Readers are beneficial from reading Christian Education for the Real World because it avoids unnecessary things taking place.
Thirdly, Morris applies Bible verses orderly and usefully in this book. He quotes many verses from the Bible and relates them well with the context. For example, when the author mentions the foundational truth of God, he uses seven Bible verses to support his statement.
