There are many reason to be a Christian Counselor. The reason I want to be a Christian counselor is to serve God's people. When I enrolled here at Faulkner University, my sole intent was to receive my bachelor degrees in business administration. I wanted my degree to start my own business and know how to run a business. After a few months of attending here at Faulkner University, I start having a feeling in my inner spirit that God had me here at Faulkner for another reason. There is a saying "if you want God to laugh tell God your plan". Well I guess I made God laugh because God changed the plans or started revealing the plan he already predestined. In order to lead, you have to know how to serve others. Our purpose is to serve and being a servant for God. When you are living on purpose, you love the service or work you are providing and it is a desire in your heart to carry out your duties for God. Not only is your purpose benefiting God' people but it is also beneficial for you as well. It fills you with joy just to know you doing God's work and taking you to a higher realm in Christ. God reveals more to you so you can continue to grow spiritually. You never stop learning in Christ. We have a mission statement at the church I attend True Divine Baptist Church. The statement: Producing Believers Who Excel In Life. I am a true believer of that statement. I want to produce believers who excel in life because I be excelled in from my pastor's leadership and sermons. I want others to excel in life from counseling so they can live on purpose. As I have stated before I want to become a counselor to serve God's people and do the work God has purpose me to do. I want to ensure individual and families that God want us to live a life of abundance and a blessed filled life in Christ. Teaching them how to use
