Certified Medical Assistant

Practicing in the medical field is a respectable profession, since its main goal is to help others when they are in need. Although, I’m not sure of what job I will have, I do know that it will be in the field of medicine. I hope through the mentoring program I will be able to decide if a Certified Medical Assistant is the job for me.
A medical assistant is an individual that works alongside but not limited to physicians, mainly in outpatient or ambulatory care facilities, such as medical offices and clinics (Medical Assistant Job). A Certified Medical Assistant provides services necessary to support the physician and to help keep the facility running smoothly. It is possible for a Certified Medical Assistant to work without being certified (Medical Assistant Job). However, most employers are wanting the best out of the bunch. Not only would it be likelier for an individual to get a job, it looks better on a resume to have completed the course into becoming a Certified Medical Assistant.
It is considered a fast growing job in health care because there is a constant need for medical assistants and there are many jobs available. Certified Medical Assistants are considered the highest standard of professionalism in the field (Exam Application). By having the certification of a Certified Medical Assistant it shows that the individual met the rigorous standards of the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants(Exam Application ).
The only requirement needed before taking a Certified Medical Assistant program is to obtain a high school diploma or have a GED. Job requirements change all the time and employers tend to lead towards hiring individuals that have an associate degree or more. In order to be able to ...

These are all common duties needed to be done to fulfill a job as a Certified Medical Assistant but it usually depends on the location and the company itself.
Certified Medical Assistants are able to have a challenging and simulating workday, and have a salary of $42,000 a year. They have many employment benefits such as vacation pay and it is a perfect job for anyone willing to do make it one!
