Casey a close friend of mine is a superlative example of a person who always hopes for the best. Casey is not only 10 years old like me, but lives in the same state. He is also one of the most important role model to me for always looking on the bright side. I think that he is optimistic because he always makes you happy, he never gives up, and most of his optimism is in his writing.

For some reason Casey always makes you feel better and happy. For instance, I was agitated by a difficult problem I couldn’t answer on an important test and I told Casey. He told me it’s fine and that it’ll only be one point off. That gave me some relief and made me relaxed, knowing that I’ll have a decent test score. Like most optimists Casey sees the bright side of things and he’ll always show that to others. “It’s going to be fine,” he always says. Casey’s bright and merry nature helps me see that there is always another way and to stay hopeful. It keeps me warm inside and tells me I can keep going. I think that since Casey can let people see the bright side, it shows more of his positive nature.

For example, when he creates fictional characters in a rough draft, they will usually look up to life and never give up on things. Also in narratives where he describes that he lost something or a chance he states that he would always remember it in his mind. Most themes he writes in stories is to look up to life and live it to the fullest. Also his writing makes you feel warm inside and happy. It also makes you feel that you can do better every time. I think that his writing is a great example of his optimism because when you read his stories, they fill you with hope and you feel
