In my trade I have learned a lot I started off with basic training which was watching videos and using basic tool. Carpentry was a very interesting trade because as I go to trade u always learned something new and it could be an advantage because it may lead to u not having to do as much because of the simple fact that you are getting better so you begin to get the hang of everything you do. Carpentry can help in a long run because carpentry is using drywall and framing, well if you didn’t know dry walling is use in most house and that is a big thing because instead of having to pay someone to do it for you have yourself that has experience with the steps and the materials to use to accomplish what you are trying to do if that is fix a whole or even putting a new wall. Ever since was I little kid interested in learning about how power worked. I was raise in a small town with a big power plant that specialized in producing coal power and enjoy it a lot. For my artifact I will be doing embroidery. Embroidery can be used in tons of forms and could be done in many different methods. I selected embroidery as my artifact because I consider this as a useful skill that I can benefit with in the future. I think sewing is a worthwhile skill to learn because it lets me customize things I own that has fabric I can sew on. I can also use this skill in fixing holes on clothing and even mend bigger sized clothing to my size. By learning embroidery it is very broad and could be used in multiple forms so you can do plenty of things with it. I knew how to sew when I was younger and I guess doing this for my project will be enjoyable considering I have experience to do this so I can have fun with my project

As a kid, I always liked to build and construct whatever my mind came up with. For example, I like to build with LEGOs; following the instructions step-by-step until the project was complete. I loved it. As I moved through middle school, and even into high school, I wondered if construction, or constructing things, could be pursued as a job. Especially since my advancements and achievements in math and science subjects in school, engineering in general sounded like the right job for me. That’s how I found civil engineering as a career option. The job of a civil engineer fascinated me, and I could see myself working on a large-scaled building or project for the rest of my life.
