There are millions of topics that people don’t discuss enough, but not all of those topics are as catastrophic and important as cancer. With so many people suffering from many varieties of cancer you’d think there’d be a sign on every bus and thousands of commercials about it daily in every city, state, and country. Cancer is a group of diseases which involve abnormal cell growth which can spread throughout your whole body and destroy body tissue. There are 8 most common cancers, Breast, Prostate, Basal Cell, Melanoma, Colon, Lung, Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer. Each of these cancers starts to develop in one's body for many aspects that can attribute to the cause of cancer since the actual cause of the cause is yet not known. These types of cancers are all caused by many different types of reasons and can be noticed in one’s body with symptoms, and can get cured with strong treatments. Different types of cancers include Breast cancer, which is “cancer that forms in the cells of the breasts.” Prostate cancer is “cancer in a man's prostate, a small walnut-sized gland that produces seminal fluid.” Basal cell cancer is “a type of skin cancer that begins in …show more content…

Melanoma skin cancer symptoms include bigger mole diameter, darkening of the skin, mole color changes, or skin mole with an irregular border. There is a rule used for Melanoma skin cancer called the “ABCDE Rule.” The A is for Asymmetry, leaving one half of a mole or birthmark not matching the other half. B is for Border, the edges on the mole or birthmark are irregular, blurred, ragged or notched. C is for Color, the color may include different shades of brown or black all over and sometimes may have patches of pink, red, white, or blue.
