Behavior Plan
As a future basketball coach, I will have to know how to discipline my athletes to ensure positive team culture. My plan for discipline will include taking steps to set the right team culture, team meetings, and rules to keep my team in line.

A rule I will enforce will be, if you are late to a practice, meeting, or contest, you have to run. Only emergencies and illness are an excuse to miss or be late for an event. Also, no cell phones in the locker room close to game time. They will be distracted and unfocused on the game. I want my athletes to set an example for younger athletes so I will have the rule of being respectful by using appropriate language. I will also expect them to use an appropriate tone with other athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. If my players taunt, use obscene gestures, or engage in boastful celebrations that demean other athletes, I will discipline them by taking away playing time. I want my athletes to have good sportsmanship and this would not show that quality. I want my athletes to be able to perform to the best of their ability so I will make a rule to not use tobacco or drink alcohol. If they are caught with anything, they will have to
